Do you still remember when we used to play together back in 2011? I pretended to be a weird monster maybe a dinosaur, and you were a princess I guess haha. I was chasing you, and you were running away, we are laughing.

I don’t know why I still remember it. It’s just a small piece of childhood, but somehow it lingers. a tiny memory that grows clearer as time goes by.

Today, I’m still pretending to be a monster. But I’m not chasing you anymore. Today is my breaking change. the day I stop chasing you, and start chasing who I’m meant to become.

I hope you’re chasing your dreams too. Perhaps someday, the monster and the princess will meet again. no longer pretending, just becoming who they’re meant to be.
